This is a proposal to enable PEPE as a ZRC-20 Asset. Enabling new ZRC-20 assets is a multiple step procedure that is outlined on the docs page.
Token information:
- Origin Chain: Ethereum
- Token Address (on origin chain): 0x6982508145454ce325ddbe47a25d4ec3d2311933
- Symbol: PEPE.ETH
- Name: ZetaChain ZRC20 PEPE on Ethereum
- Explorer Link (Origin Chain): https://etherscan.io/token/0x6982508145454ce325ddbe47a25d4ec3d2311933
ZRC-20 on ZetaChain allows developers to create universal dApps by representing native gas and supported ERC-20 tokens from connected chains as ZRC-20 tokens for seamless cross-blockchain interactions. You can learn more about ZRC-20 Assets on our Docs page.
The ZetaChain developer and user community has expressed interest in PEPE, the token contract meets all of the technical criteria, and enabling this token supports ZetaChain’s mission to become the Universal EVM.
A new governance proposal will be created to determine whether or not the network should move ahead with enabling this new asset. Please use this forum for discussion.
